Network at the Boston SuperMeet Featuring Oscar Winning Editor Walter Murch Thursday, October 27th at the Stuart Street Playhouse

Mingle & enjoy a few cocktails and party at the Second Annual Boston SuperMeet on Thursday, October 27th at the Stuart Street Playhouse at the Radisson Hotel Boston, right in Boston's Theater District. Headlining this SuperMeet will be OSCAR and BAFTA award-winning editor Walter Murch (APOCALYPSE NOW, THX-1138, THE ENGLISH PATIENT, TETRO) who has recently completed post production on director Philip Kaufman’s HEMINGWAY AND GELLHORN, staring Nicole Kidman, Clive Owen and Robert Duvall.

Also featured will be ANDREW WEISBLUM, A.C.E. (editor of BLACK SWAN, THE WRESTLER), who will join Avid on stage for a special announcement; Filmmaker JEM SCHOFIELD for Canon on the present and future state of EOS Filmmaking; Colorist ALEXIS VAN HURKMAN for Blackmagic Design on finishing for features with DaVinci Resolve; and Marc-Andre Ferguson on groundbreaking new mobile workflow for visual effects, 3D and finishing with Autodesk SMOKE on Mac using a laptop and ThunderBolt RAIDs.

Network and connect in person with over twenty filmmaker-related software and hardware developers in the SuperMeet Digital Showcase, including Canon, Adobe, AJA, Avid, Autodesk, Blackmagic Design, GenArts, Noise Industries and more!

All attendees will receive two tickets to the World Famous Raffle featuring over $50,000 in filmmaker-related prizes, including Autodesk SMOKE on Mac ($14,995 value).

The Stuart Street Playhouse is located at 200 Stuart Street at the Radisson Hotel Boston, at the corner of Charles and Stuart Streets in the heart of the Theatre District

Parking:
Patrons may park in the garage attached to the Radisson Boston.

From the North:
Take Rt. 93 South to the Storrow Drive exit (#26A) toward Cambridge. Keep left at the fork in the ramp and follow ramp to Storrow Drive (MA-28 South). Stay left on Storrow Drive and take the second exit (Beacon Street/Copley Plaza exit). Take a left onto Beacon St. and a quick right onto Arlington St. Continue on Arlington St. to Stuart St. Take a left onto Stuart St. and follow for 1 block. The entrance to the theater and parking will be on your right at the corner of Charles and Stuart Streets. The theater is located in the Radisson Hotel complex.

From the South:
Take Rt. 93 North to the Mass Pike exit toward South Station (exit #20) and follow signs to the South Station. At the end of the exit ramp turn left onto Kneeland Street. Follow Kneeland St. (which becomes Stuart St.) to Tremont St. and turn left onto Tremont St. At the first set of lights, after the Wang Center, turn right and immediately turn right again onto Charles St. The theater and the entrance to parking will be on the left just before the intersection of Charles and Stuart Streets. The theater is located in the Radisson Hotel complex.

From the West:
From the Mass Pike Take Exit #22, the Copley Square Exit. Stay in the right lane of the exit ramp. At light, go straight down Stuart Street 4 blocks, hotel and garage entrance will be on your right.

By Subway:
Take the Green Line to Boylston Street. Walk one block with traffic down Tremont Street into the Theatre District. Turn right onto Stuart Street, and walk one block to Charles Street. The theatre is across the street and on your left at Radisson Hotel Boston.
